For many years the recorder player Sabrina Frey and the harpsichordist Philippe Grisvard have been working closely together, which led to the desire to record a program for recorder and harpsichord that exploits the tonal and interpretative registers of these two instruments. Although the manuscripts of the recorded works are today scattered in libraries from all over Europe to the USA, they all have one thing in common: they contain wonderful sonatas for recorder and b.c., all of which were composed in Italy within a period of 30 years.

Recording: 06/2021 – Neumünster Church, Zurich/Switzerland. Instruments: Recorders: Alto recorder Denner in f’ – Ernst Meyer (Sieber, Vivaldi, Mancini); Harpsichord: Copy after Michael Mietke around 1700, built by Markus Krebs 2007;
