Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss are the two significant fixed stars in the musical world of the well-known German t enor Daniel Behle. For a long time it has been a heartfelt wish of the singer to sing the music of these two important "Richards" with a large orchestra and also to record it. Now this wish has come true on the Swiss label PROSPERO: Together with the Borusan Istanbul Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Austrian conductor Thomas Rösner, Behle sings here selected orchestral songs by Richard Strauss such as Ständchen Op.17/2 as well as scenes from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Lohengrin and Tannhäuser by Richard Wagner.
